eXtra Access: Episode 302
In October the third season of eXtra Access, presented by FJM got off to an early start with a recap of the X16 Audition Clinics. Now it's time for your weekly update of our pre-season rehearsals in Indianapolis, IN. Both Winds and Percussion were in for a full weekend of rehearsal last Friday, but outside of rehearsal there was a lot to be done. Both the Percussion front ensemble and the Winds back ensemble received beautiful new equipment from Pearl Drum Corp and Adams Musical Instruments. Rhythm X, Inc. has been supported for many years by Pearl/Adams and we're always honored when we receive new equipment to play.
In order to keep all our brand new Pearl and Adams gear in top shape, we spent the weekend working on our brand new semi trailer and cleaning out the old one. This year at Rhythm X, Inc. both of our US WGI ensembles will have a semi trailer of their own. Some awesome volunteers spent their weekend flooring the newly installed second floor of the Percussion semi. The Winds semi got some love too. The cast of both groups is looking forward to having more space.
Next weekend we'll be bringing all of our new gear and both of our semi trailers to Danville Community Schools where we'll rehearse, stage more of both shows, and load our new truck!
