European X To Travel To Lithuania, Participate in The X Academy Clinic and DrumLine Battle

VILNIUS - Members and staff of European X, along with Rhythm X, Inc. CEO Mike Scott will travel to Lithuania next weekend to host a battery percussion clinic by The X Academy and participate in Drum Corps International's DrumLine Battle Baltic. Mike Scott of the US will be a judge for the event which includes a DCI Soundsport event with several community and military bands from around Central and Eastern Europe.

The event - which is hosted by Lithuanian performing arts non-profit Artspark is in its second year. Last year, The X Academy hosted Tom Gasparrini in a battery percussion clinic featuring the battery section of Jubal - one of the world's oldest drum corps. This year European X is making the trek for both the clinic and the performance. Lithuania is a short flight, but a 16 hour drive for the equipment from Euro X's home in Hilversum, Netherlands. The event is held at Cido arena, a professional basketball and bicycle racing stadium in Panevėžys, Lithuania, a few hours drive from the country's historic capital Vilnius.
