WGI Dayton Regional Recap

This past weekend both Rhythm X ensembles competed at their first WGI Regional of X17 in Dayton, Ohio. It was a successful and productive weekend for each ensemble in both rehearsals and performances. Winds took first place in their class in both prelims and finals, and Percussion took second in both prelims and finals

Winds delighted the crowd with their show "Jumping Through Loops," featuring gorgeous uniforms from Fred J. Miller Inc. and the vibrant tarp from Field and Floor FX. Percussion added 11 back drop props produced by Pageantry Innovations, each standing 12' tall. Keep an eye out for more exciting additions as the show progresses!

The X Store was open both Saturday and Sunday for Rhythm X fans to grab all the best gear. Stop by at our next show to try on a jacket, test out the Tim Fairbanks and Tim Jackson Signature Innovative Percussion sticks, and pick up a lanyard for the recently reduced price of only $5!

We always love hearing from and seeing our fans on regional weekends! With gorgeous weather this weekend, tons of our fans were able to stop by to watch us warm up in the lot and say hi. Stay tuned on our Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat [rhythmxinc] for updates on the location of our warm up and performance times each weekend! Tag your posts with #X17 to join the conversation.
